Introduction
Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the Galaxy A25 5G, aiming to succeed its predecessor, the Galaxy A24. Recent leaks have unveiled the design and features of the upcoming smartphone, with a comprehensive specifications list now surfacing through a new report.
Design and Display
The Galaxy A25 5G is expected to boast a 6.5-inch screen featuring a U-shaped notch and Full HD resolution, in line with its forerunner. Although the screen type remains undisclosed, speculation points towards a 90Hz OLED display, similar to that found on the Galaxy A24.
Camera Setup
The camera setup is anticipated to comprise a 50MP primary rear camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, a 13MP front-facing camera is likely to be incorporated.
Processor and Performance
In a notable shift, Samsung is said to have opted for the Exynos 1280 processor for the Galaxy A25 5G, replacing the MediaTek Helio G99 employed in the Galaxy A24. This new 5nm chip introduces 5G connectivity to the smartphone, featuring two Cortex-A78 CPU cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores clocked at 2GHz. The processor will be complemented by 6GB or 8GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 128GB to 256GB, with the inclusion of a microSD card slot for expandable storage.
Software and Battery
The smartphone is anticipated to run on Android 14-based One UI 6.0 out of the box. Powering the device is a robust 5,000mAh battery, supporting 25W fast charging.
Color Variants and Pricing
The Galaxy A25 5G is poised to be available in four color variants: Black, Blue, Silver, and Yellow. The pricing for both storage configurations is expected to fall within the €300-€400 range, providing users with a compelling mid-range option.
