A new Snapdragon 8 Gen series System-on-Chip (SoC) has surfaced, known as SM8635, prior to its expected official unveiling in September or October this year. According to reports, the SM8635 has achieved an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score of approximately 1.7 million. While the exact marketing name for this SoC is still uncertain, it is speculated to position itself between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Gen 3. Possible names being considered include Snapdragon 8s Gen 2 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Lite.
Interestingly, there are suggestions of another Qualcomm chip, the SM7675, which is believed to be identical to the SM8635. This chip is potentially part of the Snapdragon 7 Gen series.
